The blue-green algae sensor measures cyanobacteria (phycocyanin) in fresh water. The species can present in fresh water and produce toxins and compounds which cause water blooms. Blue-green algae are of interest for water body ecosystem and monitoring. The sensor is great for in-situ monitoring applications for rivers, lakes, reservoirs. The integrated wiping system provides a great solution for hostile environments.

WIPER NOTE：

1. Do not leave sensors in solution for a long time. A chemical reaction may occurs with the PMMA fiber on the sensor (wiper assembly, sensor bulkhead).

2. Do not force the savage turn the wiper.

3. Every 18 months wiper shaft o-ring replacement is necessary to maintain optimum performance.
